POSCO Committee
Overview
In compliance with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, and as mandated by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), our school has constituted a POSCO Committee to ensure a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for all our students.
The POSCO Committee is dedicated to addressing all forms of sexual abuse and misconduct against children and is responsible for promoting awareness, conducting sensitization programs, and addressing any concerns or complaints raised by students or stakeholders.
Objectives of the POSCO Committee
- To ensure the implementation of the POCSO Act in letter and spirit.
- To create a child-friendly environment in the school.
- To handle complaints related to child abuse or exploitation swiftly, fairly, and confidentially.
- To sensitize staff, students, and parents about child rights and safety.
- To conduct awareness programs and workshops on child protection.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of child abuse.
- Regularly monitor the safety protocols across the campus.
- Maintain the confidentiality of complaints and complainants.
- Coordinate with legal and child protection authorities, when required.
- Organize age-appropriate workshops and training for students and staff.

Workshops and Initiatives
Our school regularly conducts the following:
